The Key English Test by far is the easiest of all Cambridge exams.
To whom is it for?
This test is for you if you wish to you possess a basic command of English in the fields of speaking and listening, reading, writing.
What is the KET test like?
The test comes in three sections:
- Reading and Writing: 56 questions, 70 minutes
- Listening: 25 minutes
- Speaking: 8 to 10 minutes
The KET test has two versions:
- KET for Schools
These two versions ask the same kind of questions. The KET for schools test includes content that is of high interest for learners of school-age.
The Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking sections come with marks of 25% each.
After writing the test, a Statement of Results will be sent to you. In case your performance levels range between CEFR Levels B1 and A1, you are issued with a certificate. The grades are: B1 for pass with distinction, and A2 for a pass with merit.
If you do not pass, but still .If you do reasonably well in your test and still not have a pass, you are provided with an A1 certificate.
A2 / B1 / Elementary / Low intermediate.
